Introduction

MSC and Phd in Health Psychology 2 is a PhD program taught at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Master of Health Science with specialization in Health Psychology and the Doctor of Philosophy with specialization in Health Psychology are postgraduate programmes at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The programmes focus on health psychology and offer a research pathway for topics that include the biopsychosocial-spiritual model of health and quality of life, psychological preparation for stressful medical procedures, parental stress and psychological well-being among parents of special needs children, and psychosocial intervention for people with dementia.

Admission Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission in MSC and Phd in Health Psychology 2 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as pre-requiste for admission in MSC and Phd in Health Psychology 2.

Master of Health Science with specialization in Health Psychology

Bachelor Degree in related field with a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from any Institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate; or
Other qualification; equivalent to a Bachelor Degree and other qualification or experience recognized by the Senate.

Doctor of Philosophy with specialization in Health Psychology

Master Degree in related field from any institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate; or
Other qualification; equivalent to the Master Degree and other qualification or experience recognized by the Senate.

International applicant should get a minimum score of 580 for TOEFL-CBT 230 TOEFL-IBT 88 or Band 6.5 for IELTS (for Master of Health Science with specialization in Health Psychology). International applicant should get a minimum score of 550 for TOEFL or Band 6.0 for IELTS (for Doctor of Philosophy with specialization in Health Psychology).
