MSC and Phd in Optometry 2
Introduction
MSC and Phd in Optometry 2 is a PhD program taught at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia offers a Master of Health Science with specialization in Optometry and a Doctor of Philosophy with specialization in Optometry. Applicants can apply to conduct research in optometry areas such as tears, myopia, dyslexia, amblyopia, keratoconus, binocular vision, eye movements, vision and ageing, orthokeratology, electrophysiology, reading and vision, visual psychophysics, vision and road safety, and vision-related quality of life.
Research areas also include low vision and vision rehabilitation, contact lens (including specialty lenses), and paediatric optometry and special population. The entry requirements specify academic qualifications at the relevant level (bachelor degree for the master; master degree for the PhD), plus English test minimums for international applicants.
Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in MSC and Phd in Optometry 2 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

Master of Health Science with specialization in Optometry: Bachelor Degree in related field with a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from any Institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate; or Other qualification; equivalent to a Bachelor Degree and other qualification or experience recognized by the Senate.
International applicant should get a minimum score of TOEFL 550 or Band 5.5 for IELTS.
Doctor of Philosophy with specialization in Optometry: Master Degree in related field from any institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate; or Other qualification; equivalent to the Master Degree and other qualification or experience recognized by the Senate.
International applicant should get a minimum score of TOEFL 550 or Band 5.5 for IELTS.
