Introduction

International Relations and History is a Bachelor program taught at Bath Spa University, UK. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Bath Spa University offers BA (Hons) International Relations and History, a combined honours degree that explores how past events shape today’s world politics. International Relations examines world politics and historical change, while History develops skills in reading historical texts, using historical sources, and discussing and debating historical subjects and concepts. Students explore both western and non-western political traditions and assess relevance to contemporary global structures.

Teaching combines small seminars and workshops with lectures, practical sessions, and field trips. Assessment includes essays, group and individual presentations, online reports, surveys, project portfolios, campaign documents, context papers, podcasts, blog posts, and vlogging. Students also work on defined problems or case studies and produce a final project that may take the form of extended academic writing, a pitch, a community project, a policy brief, or digital resources.
