Introduction

Aerospace Engineering MEng (Hons) is a Bachelor program taught at Brunel University Uxbridge, UK. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Brunel University Uxbridge’s Aerospace Engineering MEng (Hons) combines engineering fundamentals with specialist aerospace study. You cover engineering mathematics and programming, engineering practice, engineering systems and energy, and engineering mechanics and materials. Later, you study propulsion systems, flight testing and analysis, advanced aerodynamics, space mechanics, and the design and analysis of aircraft and spacecraft systems, with an optional choice of fluids or solids.

Course delivery combines theory and practical sessions. The first two years build core aerospace principles, supported by the professional engineering practice module. You complete an individual research project in your third year and a major group project in your MEng final year. The MEng can be studied full-time over four years, or full-time over five years with a placement year, where you can work in the aerospace engineering sector.
