Introduction

MSC Finance Data Science is a Masters program taught at University College London, UK. Intake: September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (12 months (full-time only)) options.

The MSc Finance with Data Science at University College London combines the scientific foundations of finance with financial econometrics and data analysis using the Python coding language. You study corporate finance and financial markets, then expand into financial econometrics through core modules such as Financial Econometrics and Data and Corporate Finance and Financial Markets, alongside time series analysis, forecasting, and big data analytics and machine learning topics.

The programme runs for 12 months full-time only and is delivered at the Canary Wharf campus. It includes online pre-sessional support in mathematics, statistics, accounting, and an introduction to programming (Python). You complete written examinations, individual/group coursework, and a 6,000-word Finance with Data Science Research Project in Term 3 and during the summer.

Admission Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission in MSC Finance Data Science at University College London for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
