Mechanical Engineering
Introduction
Mechanical Engineering is a Bachelor program taught at Alabama A&M University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Mechanical Engineering at Alabama A&M University prepares students for a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Students study engineering analysis, design, manufacturing, and engineering sciences, including fluid and solid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, instrumentation, automatic controls, and mechanical and thermal design.
Teaching combines theoretical and experimental instruction. Each lab experiment includes elements of design and manufacturing, and students use computer simulation tools such as MatLab, CAD, CAE, and Lab-View. Students complete a two-semester capstone design course integrating design, manufacturing, reliability, economics, maintainability, and life cycle disposal.
