Introduction
Agricultural Education Major is a Bachelor program taught at American Coastline University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Agricultural Education major is a Bachelor of Science focused on the science, business, and technology of agriculture, food, and environmental or natural resource systems. Students develop and refine communication skills and build attributes needed to serve as educational leaders and managers. The major includes specific training and education in agriculture, plus tools and in-person experience to teach students in a variety of settings and educate beyond the K-12 system.
Students can choose a concentration to specialize. Agricultural Literacy focuses on the synthesis, instruction, and communication of basic information about agriculture to the public. Teacher Development leads to an agricultural-based degree with Colorado teacher licensure and uses a three-part model: classroom, experiential learning, and leadership development.
