Introduction

Strategic Educational Leadership (Certificate, M.Ed.,Ed. S., Ed. D.) is a program taught at Catholic University of America, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Strategic Educational Leadership program from National Louis University guides students in building theoretical and real-world knowledge to lead change within organizations focused on teaching and learning, training, curriculum and learning design, and other learning functions. It is structured across four progressive graduate levels: Certificate, M.Ed., Ed. S., and Ed. D., scaffolded to support individualized pathways based on prior bachelor’s or graduate degrees.

Students develop leadership skills that include strategic planning, goal-setting, instructional design, performance supervision, and outcomes assessment. The program also follows four themes: leadership theory and practice; curriculum design and data fluency; diversity, equity, inclusion; and resource use in education. All levels culminate in a leadership project, with the Ed. D. culminating in a dissertation focused on a problem of practice or challenge.

This program is designed for professionals in a wide variety of organizations who want to add a graduate-level leadership credential alongside their existing expertise. It prepares graduates for learning leader positions across organizations such as PK-12 educational settings, higher education, health care organizations, libraries, government and the military, education and research organizations, and educational consulting.
