Introduction

Business Administration is a Diploma program taught at Coffeyville Community College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) prepares students to work collaboratively in business and governance contexts, with values, knowledge, and skills for diverse stakeholders. The degree is created for people interested in making a difference in northern rural and remote areas, and it is distinctive for being built from a de-colonial perspective. The curriculum is rooted in the identity and circumstances tied to land, wilderness, and First Nations traditions and cultures.

Students develop practical consulting skills through the Business Administration capstone experience. Capstone projects integrate and apply business practices to a northern community need or issue, stemming from organizations such as businesses, governments, and nonprofits. Students work in teams under faculty and community guidance to produce a professional presentation and report. Many courses are available part-time by day or evening in Whitehorse, with options through the community campus network and by distance delivery.
