Interdisciplinary Studies
Introduction
Interdisciplinary Studies is a program taught at Covenant College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Interdisciplinary Studies at Covenant College is a major for students whose interests and goals cannot be contained within traditional academic disciplines. Students build an individualized course of study by integrating materials from several fields, using multiple disciplines to strengthen values and skills for work life and to address challenges that require more than one disciplinary perspective.
Students select three areas of study offered by the college, with one area as the primary concentration. The major includes an interdisciplinary seminar and an interdisciplinary capstone. Students also complete an application form with a clear statement of their goals and an explanation of how those goals will be fulfilled through the interdisciplinary major.
