Bachelor's in Finance

Finance is a Bachelor program taught at Defiance College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Finance concentration is part of the Business Administration major at Defiance College. It prepares students to provide leadership in making sound financial decisions for organizations of different sizes and types. Finance students evaluate capital decisions that position firms for growth and success, while the major also covers functional concepts across accounting, marketing, finance, and management.

Students individualize their experience by selecting one or more concentrations. Learning outcomes include explaining functional-area concepts, evaluating legal, social, and economic environments, describing the global environment of business, and applying decision-support tools to business decision-making. Students also construct and present effective oral and written professional communication and apply business concepts and functions in an integrated manner.

The minimum requirements for admission in Finance at Defiance College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Defiance College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Defiance College as pre-requiste for admission in Finance.

• Complete application process for the MBA program
• Submit a goal statement and two recommendation letters
• Completion or in progress of at least 60 credit hours with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
