Master's in Environmental Health, MHS
Introduction
Environmental Health, MHS is a Masters program taught at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Environmental Health MHS provides a foundation in environmental health. It primarily targets people with a bachelor’s degree who plan to include environmental health in their academic or career goals. In addition to coursework, students prepare an essay on an environmental health problem and make a formal presentation to faculty and students.
Students need 64 credits to graduate. Each term they register for required courses and then choose from elective courses. MHS students receive co-advising from both schools.
Students and ScM students meet together as a group four times during the academic year, with mandatory attendance, plus required attendance at EHE Grand Rounds seminars on the second Friday of each month and master’s presentations in May.
Essay and presentation deadlines, and attendance, support grading for special studies courses and failure to complete requirements across all three terms can lead to dismissal.
