USNCC Associate of Science in Uncrewed and Autonomous Systems
Introduction
USNCC Associate of Science in Uncrewed and Autonomous Systems is a Diploma program taught at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The USNCC Associate of Science in Uncrewed and Autonomous Systems, offered in conjunction with the United States Naval Community College, trains active-duty enlisted members of the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard (and Coast Guard Reservists) to work with uncrewed systems. Students study uncrewed systems fundamentals, task requirements for mission planning and execution, managerial aspects of uncrewed systems applications, and performance criteria for solving basic operational problems.
The program is offered entirely online and asynchronously. It uses nine-week terms with nine one-week modules, and each module has a weekly deadline. There is no live lecture component. Course delivery is instructor-led with instructors holding office hours. Students complete an associate degree plus an Uncrewed Systems Technology Certificate and a Naval Studies Certificate integrated into the program of study.
Completion prepares students to enter or assume greater roles and leadership responsibilities within the uncrewed systems industry. Students can also access the Embry‑Riddle Center for Career and Professional Development, which offers assistance such as coaching and resume writing.
