Introduction

Business Development and Entrepreneurship is a program taught at Florida SouthWestern State College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (27 credits; can be completed in two full-time semesters) options.

The College Credit Certificate (CCC) in Business Development and Entrepreneurship is designed to help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for starting and/or managing a business venture. The curriculum covers management and entrepreneurial skills, fundamentals of business law, marketing skills and market research, computer applications as they relate to business, accounting, sales strategies, pitching and presentation skills, and leadership and team building.

The certificate consists of 27 credits and can be completed in two full-time semesters. Students complete a focused set of business courses within the school’s academic and career pathways, supported by an assigned advisor after acceptance who helps with registration.

Admission Requirements
