Introduction

Associate of General Studies is a Diploma program taught at Friends University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Associate of General Studies at Friends University is designed for adult learners who do not have a defined major area of study. The program focuses on foundational skills in critical thinking and communication, and it covers ideas across multiple disciplines.

You complete 60 credit hours required for graduation using any courses ordinarily accepted for credit by Friends University. Students may transfer in and count up to 40 earned credit hours toward the 60 credit hours. The residency requirement for the AGS degree requires completing 20 of the last 30 hours from Friends University. Students may apply a maximum of 30 credit hours of university-approved prior learning toward the AGS degree.
