The Associate in Arts/Associate in Science degree program is designed for students who plan to transfer to a senior institution and pursue a course of study in a liberal arts area. A sample plan shows a multi-semester sequence with courses such as ENG 101 and ENG 102, MTH 112, and Natural Science options like BIO 103, BIO 104, or BIO 201, with elective and advised choices based on placement scores and the STARS guide.

The program also serves as a general studies pathway for students who want a liberal arts baccalaureate education but have not chosen a major.
