Pre-Med Program

Pre-Med Program is a program taught at Graceland College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Pre-Med Program at Graceland College is a pre-professional program that prepares students for medical school. It is organized as a collection of pre-med courses and curriculum rather than a specific major. Students work toward a bachelor’s degree in natural and physical sciences and are recommended to major in Biology or Chemistry (with a Biology minor). The curriculum is designed to help students prepare for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT).

Students complete recommended courses that include BIOL2360 Microbiology with Lab, BIOL3310 Molecular Genetics with Lab, BIOL3420 Human Anatomy with Lab, BIOL3440 Human Physiology with Lab, BIOL4310 Biochemistry I with Lab – Biomolecules (also CHEM4310), BIOL4400 Immunology, and BIOL4460 Cell and Cancer Biology, plus MATH1370 Statistics for Sciences and MATH1510 Calculus I. The program is offered at the Lamoni Campus. Students are also encouraged to pursue practical experience through shadowing or volunteer experiences and internships.

The minimum requirements for admission in Pre-Med Program at Graceland College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Graceland College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Graceland College as pre-requiste for admission in Pre-Med Program.
