Digital Media
Introduction
Digital Media is a Bachelor program taught at Hampshire College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Digital Media at Hampshire College is a field at the intersection of technology and art. Students study how technology influences art and how art influences technology. The curriculum includes skills in programming, digital design, and technology-based studio art, with access to media labs that use industry-standard software.
Course topics include digital photography, digital film and video, electronic music, interactive installation, computer graphics, and animation. Students work with limits and potentials of new technology and with technology as a source for creative expression and social transformation. Media labs and services support video production, editing, sound design, interactive media, photography, and media presentation.
Student project titles include topics such as empowerment and control in social networking communities, critical media consumption, and digital bodies. One sample studio-focused course is Video Art in the 21st Century, where students create screen-based and video installation works.

Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in Digital Media at Hampshire College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
