Logistics Technology

Logistics Technology is a program taught at Hinds Community College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Logistics Technology at Hinds Community College is an Associate of Applied Science program with a sample curriculum that also includes Career Certificate and Technical Certificate components. Students study technical English or English Composition I, Public Speaking I or Interpersonal Communication, social/behavioral and humanities/fine arts electives, and a mathematics/science elective.

The logistics coursework covers Fundamentals to Logistics, Transportation and Distribution, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistic Support Analysis, Production Planning and Controlling, Logistics Management, and Maintenance Management. Students also complete Introduction to Microsoft Office, Principles of Management or Introduction to Management, plus a Configuration Management course and a Business Logistics Capstone Project.
