Accounting Technology
Introduction
Accounting Technology is a program taught at Hinds Community College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Accounting Technology at Hinds Community College uses a sample curriculum that includes a Career Certificate, a Technical Certificate, and an Associate of Applied Science. Students study business and accounting courses such as Applied Business Mathematics, Business Accounting, Payroll Accounting, and Principles of Accounting I and II, along with business and communication courses including Communication Essentials, Career Readiness, and Introduction to Business Management.
The program is organized through course groups with listed course hours, including Microsoft Word I, Microsoft Excel I and II, Microsoft Access, QuickBooks™, and Microsoft Office introductions. Graduation requirements include passing each course in the curriculum and maintaining at least a 2.0 GPA to receive certificates or a degree. Students who wish to transfer to a four-year college or a Mississippi public university are advised to consult their advisor about course transferability.

Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in Accounting Technology at Hinds Community College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
