Elementary Education
Introduction
Elementary Education is a program taught at Hinds Community College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Elementary Education at Hinds Community College prepares students to study foundational education content alongside courses in English Composition I, English Composition II, College Algebra, American History I and American History II, and World Literature I and World Literature II. Program coursework also includes Foundations in Education, Human Growth & Development, and an elective (Endorsement Area).
The curriculum is organized by four semesters. It includes class hours and laboratory coursework such as Physical Science Survey I Lab and Principles of Biology I Lab, plus Education-related classes like Physical Education & Elementary School l. Semester totals are 15 hours, 16 hours, 18 hours, and 15 hours across Semesters 1 through 4.
Students who wish to transfer to a four-year college or university can consult with an advisor about course transferability. Those who wish to transfer to a Mississippi public university should consult with an advisor regarding transferability as outlined in the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning/Community College Articulation Agreement.

Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in Elementary Education at Hinds Community College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
- program specific academic requirment set by Hinds Community College.
- English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Hinds Community College as pre-requiste for admission in Elementary Education.
