Introduction
Athletic Training - Master Program is a Masters program taught at Huntingdon College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.
The Huntingdon College Master of Athletic Training (M.A.T.) is a six-semester program that prepares students for a career in sports medicine as an allied health care professional. Training combines instruction from multiple perspectives with hands-on experience in every course. The program includes on-campus placements with 21 NCAA-III athletic teams, plus external clinical placements in schools and colleges, medical and physical therapy clinics, orthopedic clinics, and industrial settings. Each student completes six clinical internships with a Certified Athletic Trainer, physicians, or other health care providers, with the first five occurring alongside coursework and the sixth as an 8-week clinical immersion experience that may require temporary relocation.
