Fitness Trainer Technician
Introduction
Fitness Trainer Technician is a program taught at Lake Region State College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Fitness Trainer Technician program at Lake Region State College combines classroom learning with practical experience. Students build skills for careers as personal trainers, focusing on exercise, nutrition, and client support. The curriculum includes anatomy and physiology, public speaking, college composition, exercise prescription, fitness assessment, fitness leadership, prevention and care of injuries, first aid, and psychology and sociology.
The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). It is offered online and on campus. Students complete coursework across multiple subjects and include an internship module in the curriculum. The final semester includes application in a community setting, and students also learn how to develop business and marketing plans for starting a fitness industry business.
