Electronics Technology
Introduction
Electronics Technology is a program taught at Los Angeles Southwest College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Electronics Technology (AS) prepares you to research, study, and test electronics circuits in a specialized testing laboratory. You study electronics systems and how they power different operations and systems, along with microcomputer applications, networking, and servicing hardware. The program also includes math and science courses with reasoning and formulas used in the field.
Your course work includes measurement and testing through ELECTRN 41 Measurement and Testing Laboratory I (or ELECTRN 43) and ELECTRN 57 Computer Circuits Laboratory. You complete required electronics and computer-focused courses, then choose additional units from specified course options. The program includes internships, and you can meet with an academic counselor to plan a transfer to a bachelor’s degree.
