Introduction

Health & Health Sciences is a program taught at Luzerne County Community College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Luzerne County Community College offers Health Sciences programs with separate admission requirements. General admission to the college does not guarantee admission to selective Health Sciences programs. After applying, Health Sciences applicants are placed in the General Studies program with pending acceptance into a specific Health Science program. Applicants submit all required application materials by the deadlines for each Health Sciences program.

Admission depends on clearance for criminal background checks before final acceptance into a Health Sciences program. Clinical rotations use mandated regulations from area clinical agencies, so acceptance is conditional until required background checks and screenings are successfully completed, submitted, and approved. Health Sciences students must also keep certain items updated annually while enrolled. Programs require required science courses to be in-person, with lab components, and a grade of C or better.
