Introduction
B.S.N. – Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Pre-Licensure is a Bachelor program taught at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, USA. Intake: Fall semester. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a direct admit program designed for students who begin their nursing education after high school graduation. It includes preparation for RN licensure and a liberal arts education. The program starts with the sciences and general education courses, then introduces nursing courses later with clinical and lab courses introduced further into the program.
Nursing learning includes clinical experiences at area hospitals, health care centers, and community care settings, along with nursing skills labs for hands-on practice and remediation in a safe, controlled setting. High-fidelity simulation takes place at The Linda Grunin Simulation Lab and Learning Center, using high-tech mannequins and equipment, and is threaded throughout the nursing curriculum. Students use personal transportation for clinical experiences. Study abroad programs are available in the summer semester.
