Business Transfer Pathway

Business Transfer Pathway is a program taught at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.

The Business Transfer Pathway is an Associate of Science (AS) degree that builds a foundation in business knowledge and skills. Coursework emphasizes management, marketing, economics, accounting, technology, and communications, and it is designed to transfer into designated bachelor’s degree programs at Minnesota State system universities.

Students complete a 60-credit associate degree program at M State and, on completion, are guaranteed junior-year status within the designated bachelor’s degree program. Transfer pathways are available at Bemidji State University, Metropolitan State University, Minnesota State University Mankato, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Southwest Minnesota State University, St. Cloud State University, and Winona State University.

The program also supports skills for business practice, including functioning effectively in a diverse global business environment, using critical thinking to analyze and solve business problems, and using effective interpersonal and communication skills. Sample courses include Principles of Management and Legal Environment of Business.

The minimum requirements for admission in Business Transfer Pathway at Minnesota State Community and Technical College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Minnesota State Community and Technical College as pre-requiste for admission in Business Transfer Pathway.
