Introduction

Masters of Engineering is a Masters program taught at Montana Tech, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Masters of Engineering (M. Eng.) at Montana Tech is a 31-credit coursework-only master’s degree for students with a B.S. in engineering. It includes advanced courses within a chosen discipline option and a core set of credits, along with an M.Eng. exit exam. Within the option, students take advanced courses plus 6 credits selected from a core. Requirements include 6 credits of 500-level core classes, 16 credits of 400-level or higher courses focused on the option (with at least 10 credits at the 500 level, including a one-credit M.Eng. exit exam), and 9 credits of approved electives at the 400 level or higher. Options may be offered face-to-face, fully online, or hybrid.
