Introduction

Occupational Science is a Bachelor program taught at Muskingum College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Occupational Science (OS) is the required first step for Muskingum College’s Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT). It supports prerequisite foundation and readiness for MOT admission through either the OTA → MOT Bridge Pathway or the Alternative Pathway. If you want a bachelor’s degree, you can complete OS as a stand-alone program while staying on a Pre-MOT track.

OS is a fully online, asynchronous program. Coursework is designed for flexible access, and all coursework can be completed fully online with no clinical requirement. The Occupational Science major requires 30 semester hours of major coursework, including Health Core Requirements, Foundational Core Requirements, and Occupational Science Electives, plus a prerequisite sequence aligned to MOT entry options.
