Bachelor's in Sociology
Introduction
Sociology is a Bachelor program taught at Muskingum College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
The Sociology major at Muskingum College focuses on social and cultural factors that influence behavior, and on understanding social order and social change. Students choose between two paths: a research orientation designed to prepare students for graduate school and social justice work, and an applied focus designed to prepare students for jobs in human services. Both paths build understanding of people’s interactions and their impact on the world.
The program includes one-on-one opportunities with professors, including field research, professional development, and student publication. Students may pursue internship opportunities in research or human services, either through formal options or by creating their own.
