The Cybersecurity Technical Diploma at Nicolet Area Technical College equips students with knowledge and skills for a career in cybersecurity. Students build IT and networking skills and study topics that include digital literacy with cyber security, network security, and enterprise IT security. The program also covers cybersecurity analyst topics such as penetration testing, system hacking, malware and sniffers, SQL injections, cryptography, and incident-focused activities.
Learning is delivered through online classes with a flexible pace. The program is organized into terms and includes courses with a total of 16.00 credits. The course content includes written communication, networking fundamentals such as switching and routing and LANs and WANs, and IT security topics focused on assessing, securing, monitoring, and responding to incidents.
