Introduction

Accelerated Master of Legal Studies (MLS) is a Masters program taught at North Dakota University System, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Accelerated Master of Legal Studies (MLS) is a graduate degree for students who want legal analysis and reasoning, legal research and writing, and core principles of U.S. Law. USF undergraduate students complete two online, asynchronous introductory bridge courses during their undergraduate studies, which count toward the MLS degree. After the bachelor’s degree, students complete the MLS in just two semesters or, with an experiential component, in three semesters.

Students choose a track that shapes the degree around their goals, including General; Business and Corporate Law; AI and Emerging Technology Law; Privacy & Intellectual Property Law; Criminal Justice and Policy; Environmental and Energy Law; Immigration Law; Labor & Employment Law; and Legal Technology.

The program can be completed as Standard MLS (24 units) part-time or full-time, or as MLS with an Experiential Concentration (32 units) as a full-time option that includes enhanced professional development through the law school’s externship program.
