Bachelor's in Accounting, BSBA
Introduction
Accounting, BSBA is a Bachelor program taught at North Dakota University System, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Accounting BSBA focuses on working with real-world financial data. Students conduct audits the same way a certified public accountant does, evaluate case studies, and do deep-diving research while honing presentation skills. Electives include accounting data analytics and cost accounting, and professors help students prepare for the CPA exam.
Learning is supported through student activities and project work. Students also complete interdisciplinary projects through the Horizon Collective that cover sustainability, AI, and health, starting in the first semester.
The program includes internship opportunities. Students can intern in tax, and examples include work at the Deloitte office in areas such as withholding compliance for federal taxation and merger and acquisition tax implications.
