Doctor of Nursing Practice
Introduction

The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is an online program designed for nurses who have RN and MSN credentials. Students complete nine 700–800 level courses and end with a practice-focused final project. Students complete coursework online while balancing work in nursing. The program includes virtual reality learning and requires a minimum of 1,000 postbaccalaureate practice hours to graduate. The scholarly project is completed over three terms with mentorship from a DNP consultant and collaboration with a mentor at the practice site.
