Art History
Introduction
Art History is a program taught at Saddleback College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The AA-T for Art History is designed for students seeking employment in studio art, galleries, art auction, art journalism, art criticism, museums, conservation, restoration, and teaching. It also prepares students who transfer with an Art History degree for jobs that require abstract and analytical thinking, including consulting, journalism, grant writing, and law, with a humanistic education.
Students complete the Associate in Arts for Transfer. The program supports transfer to the California State University system with priority admission, though admission to a specific campus is not guaranteed. The program does not have enrollment limitations, but non-western art history courses are offered on a rotating basis, so students may not be able to enroll in a specific non-western class before they must declare for graduation.
