Bachelor's in Early Education and Care
Introduction
Early Education and Care is a Bachelor program taught at Salem State University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Early Education and Care at Salem State University prepares students to work with young children from birth to eight years old outside the public school system. Students can choose pathways aligned to their goals, including an early childhood professions concentration in early education and care, and a leadership and advocacy pathway for students who already hold lead teacher certification.
The early childhood professions pathway focuses on the early education profession of the student’s choice and is the pathway to the MEd in early childhood education for the public school teaching license in preschool to second grade. The leadership and advocacy pathway is designed for students already working in the field, with class offerings primarily online and scheduled around most early education and care working hours.
