Medical Assisting
Introduction
Medical Assisting is a program taught at Sierra College, USA. Intake: Fall. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (two-semester program) options.
The Medical Assisting Program at Sierra College is a hands-on two-semester program with a clinical externship. It prepares students for entry-level work as medical assistants in outpatient clinical settings, with training that includes administrative duties and clinical duties such as taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with exams.
