Diesel Technology: Trucking Diploma

The Southeast Technical Institute Trucking Diploma in Diesel Technology is a 1-year program for students who want to focus on the trucking industry. Students study over-the-road engine systems, body controls, chassis systems, electronic controls, and preventative maintenance.

The program includes hands-on lab work in Southeast Tech’s true-to-life diesel laboratories located in the Ed Wood Center and The HUB. Students practice skills using mock-ups and live work. The diploma can also be combined with a second diploma in Heavy Equipment and general education courses to obtain an associate degree.
