Bachelor's in Environmental Sciences

Environmental Sciences is a Bachelor program taught at Spelman College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Spelman College’s Environmental Sciences major prepares students for graduate school and employment, and builds a conceptual foundation and skills to address global environmental challenges. Students also learn to incorporate sustainability as a way of life and become environmentally literate citizens.

Students choose from three areas of concentration: graduate school, pre-health, and dual-degree engineering. The major includes a STEM-based foundation in soil, water, and atmospheric science, and computer and technological competency aligned toward professional careers or an advanced degree path. Students complete all core requirements and major cognate courses, plus 12 approved electives with a grade of “C” or better, and a minimum of 120 course credits to graduate.

The minimum requirements for admission in Environmental Sciences at Spelman College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Spelman College.
