Education
Introduction
Education is a program taught at State University of New York at Binghamton, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Education minor is taken alongside an undergraduate student’s major. It is designed to provide insight into careers in various educational fields and an appreciation for the role education plays in society. The minor does not lead to teacher certification.
The minor expands students’ understanding of career opportunities through classroom teaching, educational and career counseling, educational law, and school building, district and business administration. It also includes other potential educational careers in settings in New York, across the U.S. and internationally. It provides a strong foundation for further work in education at the graduate level.
