Engineering 3+2 Program
Introduction
Engineering 3+2 Program is a Bachelor program taught at Susquehanna University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (as little as five years) options.
The Engineering 3+2 Program at Susquehanna University is a double-degree engineering pathway that combines a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, computer science, math, or physics with an engineering degree chosen from Case Western Reserve University or Columbia University. You complete studies at Susquehanna, then select your engineering path at a partner institution.
Students graduate with two degrees—one from Susquehanna and one from a partner institution—in as little as five years. The program includes example multi-year roadmaps with first-year courses, progression through calculus, physics and related coursework, and culminating capstone work (Capstone I and Capstone II). Course sequences can change based on math placement, AP or transfer credit, and student preference.
The program is for students who want an accelerated pathway that connects liberal arts and sciences study with engineering training at partner institutions. It includes faculty mentoring and development of skills such as communication across disciplines, teamwork and leadership, critical thinking and problem solving, and effective writing and presentation delivery.
