Introduction

Global Affairs is a Bachelor program taught at Trinity College (DC), USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Global Affairs, B.A. is a major that includes four areas of concentration: Foreign Policy, Diplomacy and Security (FPDS) Concentration; Global Business and Economics Concentration; Africana Studies Concentration; and Latin American Studies Concentration. Students learn the skills to navigate, serve, and lead on a global scale, with concentration-specific focus on areas such as foreign policy decision-making, international business and economics, and regional history, politics, and culture.

The program includes “Partnership Experiences” that function like internships. A certain number of students are selected each year to partner with an institution where they work as Fellows. Students take seminars and learn on-the-job skills while working with various organizations. For each Partnership Experience, students can earn 3 course credits, and the program also references additional experiential learning opportunities in its GLBL program.
