English is a program taught at Tyler Junior College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The English program at Tyler Junior College helps you read and analyze literature while learning the components of writing and composition. As an English major, you develop writing, critical thinking, and reading skills and express creativity as you move toward a professional or educational pathway.

The English Department is described as a close community of professors and students. The faculty-to-student ratio for English majors is one faculty member for every five students, creating a creative and nurturing environment. The program also includes access to the free Writing Center for help reviewing or improving papers.

Graduates are directed toward careers in communications, social media management, marketing, copywriting, software sales, publishing, advertising, the film industry, blogging, and policy analysis. The program also highlights transfer agreements with universities in Texas to support transfer of completed courses.
