Introduction

History is a Bachelor program taught at Victor Valley College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

In the History program at Acadia University, you study the forces, ideas, and people that have shaped the world, from ancient civilizations to challenges of the modern era. You explore histories of race, medicine, gender, and war, along with the evolution of science, law, and the environment. You build skills in research, writing, and analysis, and also in empathy, curiosity, and creative problem-solving.

Learning takes place in small, discussion-based classes with close connection to professors. You use digital humanities tools and research methods to support hands-on learning. The degree timeline includes required introductory courses in the first year, room to choose an interdisciplinary minor or second major in the middle years, and an option to complete an honours program in the final year.
