Dalian University of Technology (DUT) International Students Presidential Scholarship 2024

Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is pleased to announce the DUT 2024 International Students Presidential Scholarship, open for international students aspiring to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. programs at the university. This scholarship, featuring Full and Partial Scholarship options, aims to support outstanding international students in their academic journey at DUT. Degree Level:

The DUT 2024 International Students Presidential Scholarship is available for the following degree levels:

1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. Master’s Degree
3. Ph.D. Degree

Scholarship Benefits:

1. Full Scholarship:
   • Covers tuition fees for the selected degree level.
   • Includes accommodation expenses during the study period.
   • Provides a monthly living allowance for additional support.
2. Partial Scholarship:
   • Waives tuition fees, reducing the financial burden on the student.
3. Living Allowance (Full Scholarship):
   • Bachelor Degree: CNY 1200 per month
   • Master Degree: CNY 1500 per month
   • Doctor Degree: CNY 1800 per month

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for this scholarship program are as follows, based on the degree level:

1. Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship (only for new students):
   • Possession of a high school (secondary school) diploma.
   • Demonstrated excellent academic achievement.
   • Age must be under 25.
   • Applicable only for Chinese-taught programs.
2. Master’s Degree Scholarship (only for new students):
   • Hold a valid bachelor’s degree.
   • Showcase outstanding academic performance.
   • For applicants outside China: Submission of two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors. Age must be under 40.
   • For applicants in China: Possession of the admission notice. Age must be under 40.
3. Ph.D. Degree Scholarship (only for new students):
   • Possession of a master’s degree.
   • Excellent academic achievement.
   • For applicants outside China: Submission of two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors. Age must be under 45.
   • For applicants in China: Possession of the admission notice. Age must be under 45.

Application Process:

1. Bachelor Degree Program:
   • Complete the DUT online application.
   • Select the self-funded program in the DUT online portal.
   • Upload the DUT Scholarship application form (refer to the attachment) to the DUT online portal.
2. Master Degree Program:
   • Fill out the DUT online application.
   • Choose the self-funded program in the DUT online portal.
   • Submit the DUT Scholarship application form (refer to the attachment) through the DUT online portal.
   • Include the following documents:
     • Bachelor Degree Diploma and Transcript.
     • Two recommendation letters by professors or associate professors.
     • Study plan (no less than 1000 words).
     • No-Criminal Conviction certificate.
     • Physical Examination Form.
     • Chinese or English Language Proficiency Certification.
3. Ph.D. Degree Program:
   • Complete the DUT online application (in triplicate).
   • Opt for the self-funded program in the DUT online portal.
   • Upload the DUT Scholarship application form (refer to the attachment) to the DUT online portal.
   • Include the following documents:
     • Master and Bachelor Degree Diplomas and Transcripts.
     • Two recommendation letters by professors or associate professors.
     • Study plan (no less than 1000 words).
     • No-Criminal Conviction certificate.
     • Physical Examination Form.
     • Chinese or English Language Proficiency Certification.

Application Timeline:

• For Bachelor and Master Degree Programs: Application period: November 1, 2022, to April 30, 2024.
• For Master and Ph.D. Programs: Application period: November 1, 2023, to February 28, 2024.
