Fachhochschule Worms states that it will award DAAD Graduation Grants, funded by the Federal Foreign Ministry of Germany, and funded by the DAAD under the Stipendien- & Beutreuungsprogramm (STIBET). The grant consists of a one-time payment of 850 €.
The award is aimed at international degree-seeking students (foreign students) without German citizenship and without a German high school diploma (“Bildungsausländer:innen”). Applicants must be enrolled in a regular degree program (bachelor's or master's) at HS Worms, and PhD students can apply. Exchange students are excluded.
Selection is based on academic performance, expected graduation time (max. one year and 60 ECTS left to complete until graduation), and the applicant’s current situation. Applicants are expected to have very good to good academic performance with an average grade of ≤ 2.5.
Support is a one-time payment. The stated purpose is to enable scholarship holders who find themselves in need through no fault of their own to successfully complete their studies within one year and to concentrate on their studies and graduation.
Please note: scholarship values, the number of awards, eligibility and deadlines change from year to year and are indicative here. Always confirm the current details on the official provider or university website before applying, and beware of any third party asking for payment to “secure” a scholarship.
