Overview

HTW DAAD MIDE Scholarships refer to DAAD funding (EPOS scholarship) through the MIDE program. For this admission cycle, DAAD funding is not available, and applicants are advised to plan their studies without considering financial support for the current intake.

Admission to the programme is handled by HTW Berlin, and applicants are directed to apply for a selected semester using the application portal. The admission requirements include having a first university degree with 180 ECTS (or an equivalent qualification) and a minimum of 15 ECTS credits in Economics (or at least three Economics-related modules for applicants from outside the ECTS system).

HTW Berlin evaluates admission based on cumulative grade point average (40%), the number of economics courses taken (25%), and the letter of motivation (35%). Applicants are instructed to review eligibility first, then prepare documents including transcripts, CV, motivation letter, and proof of English proficiency.

The programme duration is listed as 3 semesters / 18 months. The costs are stated as € 2,500 for the 18 month programme plus the semester fee for each semester. The page also states that only admitted and accepted applicants must submit certified hardcopies of university documents together with the signed study contract.
