Master of Business Administration Mba

The University of Miskolc Faculty of Economics offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with the qualification “MA in Master of Business Administration (Economist)”. Students study core MBA content alongside specialization courses in Finance, Marketing, HR, Management, as well as Economics Theory and Methodology. Teaching includes simulations, peer learning, professional debates, and case studies, alongside theoretical foundations and work on business skills through active connections with industry leaders and top companies.

The programme runs for 4 semesters and uses on-site teaching. It includes lecture and seminar–practice formats with a 55%–45% (46–37) split. Entry is based on a staged process: eligibility screening, evaluation using uploaded documents, an online entrance examination lasting 20–30 minutes, and a final assessment based on document and exam scores.

This MBA aims to prepare graduates for roles with significant responsibilities. The programme describes MBA-preferred jobs including Account Executive, Business Consultant, Business Development Manager, Entrepreneur, Finance Manager, General Manager, Marketing Manager, Operations Manager, Product Manager, Program Manager, and Sales Manager.

Bachelor‘s degree in any field with min. 2 years of work experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or Economics

Entrance examination is staged: Stage 1 – Eligibility Screening; Stage 2 – Evaluation based on uploaded documents; Stage 3 - Online Entrance Examination; Stage 4 - Final Assessment. Applicants who score at least 80 points will be admitted to the programme.
