Management and Leadership MA

The Management and Leadership MA at Budapest University of Technology and Economics is a four-semester program with 120 ECTS. It builds general and extensive management and economic knowledge and supports a focused field specialization. It includes a Production and Operations Management Specialization with practical knowledge for corporate settings, covering areas such as quantitative decision-making, operations management, financial management, marketing, project management, business law, business analytics, human resources, and international strategy.

Study is organized around foundations, finance and economics skills, and additional skills, followed by elective courses and intensive seminars. The curriculum includes corporate law, applied blocks in management and production and operations management, and applied science and technology. The specialization covers planning and operation of production and service processes, projects, and logistical activities.

For MSc programs an eligible BSc degree is needed.

Applicants take an online entrance examination with two parts. They first take an online test. If they pass the test successfully, they take part in an online motivational interview. During the interview applicants explain their professional interests, skills and training, and their motivation for joining the programme.
