The Diploma in Ayurveda Pharmacy at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is designed to train learners to function effectively as Ayurveda pharmacists in clinical, hospital, and community settings. The curriculum includes Moulika Vijnana (basic principles of Ayurveda), anatomy and physiology, Dravyaguna Vijnanam (pharmacology), Nirmana Vijnana (Ayurvedic pharmaceutics), pharmacotherapeutics, community and hospital pharmacy, social pharmacy, and law and ethics.

The course includes academic training followed by a compulsory internship at the same institution after successful completion of the examination.
